I'm Jo and "Called Beyond" is my personal website. The name comes from a radical call to live my life beyond the expectations of the world, beyond what we believe to be possible in our own strength, beyond my own ability, ideas and imagination, and to dwell beyond the veil and the outer courts in the throne room of the King. I don't always manage it, but that's what grace is for, and I love and serve a God who is all about that journey.

I'm a missionary and teacher and have served long-term in Uganda, Canada and now the US as well as visiting 17 other nations on four continents for short term outreach. I currently serve with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) at the New York Metro base and am excited about God's call to teach, train, equip and DO until His name becomes a praise in all the earth!
