PEREGRINATION WITH PURPOSE: Scandinavia Part Two

My second full day in Denmark and we hired a car and hit the road again!

This time it was with the purpose of covering the borders of the nation in prayer. We drove out from Randers to Grenaa on the east, up to Frederickhaven and Skagen in the north stopping in Alborg on the way. Across to Hirtshals and down a little where we spent the night at the house of the parents of the base leaders and enjoyed the most incredible hospitality. The next day we drove through Thirsted and Nykobing, across to Aarhus and back to the base.

We stopped in each place to pray; symbolically covering the boundaries of Denmark. Each stop had its own feel, unique words and specific prayers and lessons learned as God spoke through even the most ordinary things. Through all of it though one thing was clear; God desires revival in Denmark and the church there has been preparing the ground and calling it in. Denmark is a nation ready and waiting for what God is going to birth in Europe, and is ready for its role in carrying to The North what is birthed further south, and bringing to the south the revival that's coming from The North.

As well as the spiritual lessons learned, through fitting two men over six foot in the front and three not-so-small adult women in the back of a small saloon, we also learned the most efficient way of getting all in and belted up and that when living in close community, the best option is not guarding our space and privacy and trying to hold ourselves separate. Instead, for the greatest level of comfort, we had to embrace the closeness, let down our guard, be less fussy about our personal space, relax and let the limbs touch so we both rested on and supported each other.

Wait....did I say that was a practical lesson? No matter what we're doing, God is speaking....!!!
